8.3.7 Information
The Information menu contains commands for displaying information about the IP Security Cam.
Click “Information” in the system administration menu bar and the Information screen will appear as illustrated
below:
The Information table provides detailed information of the IP Security Cam, such as the Model Name, Firmware
Version, Mac Address, and IP Address.
8.3.8 Tools
The Tools menu contains commands for restarting the IP Security Cam.
Click “Tools” in the system administration menu bar and the Tools screen will appear as illustrated below:
Reset:
The Reset command restarts the IP Security Cam just like turning the device off and on and saved settings are
retained. The Reset panel contains the message “Do you really want to reset this device?” and a YES button. If
you do not want to reset the IP Security Cam, exit the panel without clicking YES; otherwise, click the “YES”
button and the reset process will initiate.
Factory Reset:
A factory reset restarts the IP Security Cam and returns all of its settings to their default values. The Factory Reset
panel contains the message “Do you really want to factory reset this device?” and a YES button. If you do not
want to carry out a factory reset command, exit the panel without clicking YES; otherwise, click the “YES” button
and factory reset will be initiated.
The Network must be reconfigured after a Factory Reset.
8.3.9 Home
Once the configuration is completed, click “Home” to return to the Welcome screen and select the desired Viewing
Image either through ActiveX Mode or Java Mode as described in the next section.
Then, position the IP Security Cam to the desired location appropriately for your purpose. Followed by adjustment
of the IP Security Cam focus, done manually by turning the lens clockwise or anti-clockwise to the desire image
quality. Please refer to the appendix for detailed information regarding Adjust IP Security Cam Focus and
Replacing the Lens.
